The First Visit
Your initial Home Care Dentist Appointment generally includes a comprehensive exam and x-rays. During this visit, a treatment plan is created for any additional work that is required with a minimally invasive approach. A certified Home Care Dentist will compile your health history during your first visit and then examine your teeth and gums, screen for oral cancer, take x-rays of your teeth as needed, and complete an oral exam. An oral hygiene appointment can also be scheduled for the first visit. Depending on previously scheduled appointments for the day, additional work may be completed with patient/decisionmaker approval at the time of the initial visit.
Emergency Treatment
Sometimes, your initial appointment with Home Care Dentist will be the result of a toothache or discomfort in the mouth. A certified Home Care Dentist will arrive on site, complete an exam and determine the cause of the pain or discomfort. Diagnosis and treatment plan will be discussed with patient/decisionmaker and every attempt will be made to alleviate the discomfort and resolve the issue.
Dental Treatment
Restorative and other procedures can also be complete on site in your home or residential facility. This includes fillings, extractions, dentures, whitening and more. We have taken dentistry out of the box, specifically, the dental office. Every service that is offered in a traditional brick and mortar establishment can be provided at home.
Fees
An Initial visit is $495 and includes:
Home Care Dentist visit
Dental exam
X-rays (if applicable)
Care plan
Home Care Dentist is committed to a transparent fee structure.
All fees for additional dental services including but not limited to - Cleanings, Fillings, Extractions, Crowns, Denture Relining - will be shared transparently after the initial Home Care Dentist exam so that you can make an informed decision about follow up procedures. Additional travel fees may apply for locations more than 50 miles from our headquarters in Los Gatos.
Home Care Dentist is a fee-for-service practice. Payment is due in advance or at the time services are rendered. If you have dental insurance, we will be happy to submit a standard claim form to your insurance company so that you can be reimbursed directly for your allowable benefits.
