How can Home Care Dentist provide care outside of a dental office?
Our proprietary dental suite fits all the tools and equipment found in a modern dentist's office snugly in the trunk of a car. The Dental Suite, including a reclining patient chair, is set up in any location within ten minutes and allows a highly-qualified dentist to provide first class care.
Who can use Home Care Dentist?
Our house call service works for any individual, family, or large group of patients in any location. For patients with special needs, phobias or concerns, we are happy to work with you to accommodate specific care needs. We also have expertise in working with senior patients, including those with cognitive challenges.
How are your dentists trained?
All dentists are licensed, certified graduates at top-tier dental schools with years of experience. Before working with any patients, these professionals are rigorously screened and trained for 4 weeks by the Clinical Operations Team. These programs are designed to ensure all dentists are comfortable with our proprietary equipment and meet our skills and customer service standards.
Does Home Care Dentist accept insurance?
At this time, Home Care Dentist is considered out-of-network care. If you have dental insurance, we will be happy to submit a standard claim form to your insurance company so that you can be reimbursed directly for your allowable benefits. Any dental insurance reimbursement will be sent directly to you.
What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel for any reason, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment.
What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?
A Care Coordinator will contact you ahead of your appointment to gather any relevant dental history, medical history, consent to receive care, and other personal details that will help ensure a seamless, high-quality experience. In order to set up our Dental Suite, we only need a flat, open 6x6 area with access to an electrical outlet.
Please also note that our dental suite does include an air compressor which makes noise when in use.
Aside from those few things, all you need to do is answer the door!
How is Home Care Dentist's equipment cleaned and sterilized?
We have a dedicated cleaning lab where we sterilize all our supplies, hand pieces and hand instruments. Our full-time team handles every step of the sterilization process, using the highest-quality ultrasonic cleaners and autoclaves in the industry. Our dentists always carry multiple sets of spare instruments so you're always guaranteed fresh supplies.
