HCD Visit and Basic Exam

The first visit generally includes a comprehensive exam and x-rays. During this visit, a treatment plan is created based on individual treatment needs. A certified Home Care Dentist will compile your health history during your first visit and then examine your teeth and gums, screen for oral cancer, take x-rays of your teeth as needed, and complete an oral exam.

Oral Hygiene Appointment

A comprehensive oral hygiene appointment includes a professional cleaning by a certified Home Care Dentist to gently remove plaque and tartar. Evidence suggests that problems with the mouth and teeth may cause as much as 80% of degenerative diseases in the body. The HCD oral hygiene appointment significantly prevents or delays the progression of gum diseases and includes, if applicable, geriatric oral hygiene instruction.
