Founded in 2008 by husband-wife team Dr. Amir Ghorbani and Lily Sarafan, Home Care Dentist has built upon their combined expertise in dentistry and in-home care to provide a reputable and dependable service. Since that time, Home Care Dentist has become the preferred resource for seniors, busy professionals, case managers, social workers, assisted living facilities and Bay Area families seeking an alternative to the traditional dental office.

Amir Ghorbani DDS
Dr. Amir Ghorbani is Co-Founder and Primary Care Dentist of Home Care Dentist™. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. A lifelong classic car enthusiast, Dr. Ghorbani decided to restore another aspect of a bygone era - house call dentistry - and has been on a mission to make quality dental care accessible and convenient for all ever since. Prior to making house calls, Dr. Ghorbani established his private practice on the Peninsula where he currently works 1 to 2 days per week. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, California Dental Association, Peninsula Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and Mid-Peninsula Dental Society. Dr. Ghorbani and his wife actively support Stanford University and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
Lily Sarafan
Lily Sarafan is Co-Founder of Home Care Dentist™. She is also co-author of Happy to 102: The Best Kept Secrets to a Long and Happy Life, the first in a series of books on senior care and healthy longevity. A frequent speaker on these topics, Ms. Sarafan has been featured on over 100 internationally syndicated television and radio programs including ABC-7's View From the Bay. An active fundraiser and volunteer for various non-profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area, she serves on the Board of Directors of Stanford Professional Women and PARSA Community Foundation. Ms. Sarafan earned Masters and Bachelors degrees from Stanford University.
